Phase 01
Framing the home
01 / STRUCTURE

The frame goes up straight.

Laser-checked framing and hurricane-rated connections. We build the bones to code-plus — the parts you never see are the parts we obsess over.

02 / PROTECTION

Sealed against the storm.

Peel-and-stick underlayment and ice-and-water shield across the whole deck. This is the layer that keeps wind-driven rain out when a hurricane sits on the coast.

03 / THE ROOF

Wind-rated, hand-nailed.

Architectural shingles rated to 130+ mph, six nails per — not four. Salt-air-resistant, ridge-vented, and installed by our own crews, not subs.

04 / DONE RIGHT

Golden hour, guaranteed.

Final walk-around with drone photos, then it's yours: 50-year material warranty, 10-year workmanship, and a wind-mitigation report for your insurer.

What we do

Every layer, every material, one coastal crew.

No subcontracted mystery crews. The people who quote your roof are the people who build it.

01

Full replacement

Tear-off to ridge cap in a day for most homes — architectural shingle, standing-seam metal, or concrete tile.

02

Hurricane & storm repair

We photograph and document the damage in writing and restore to better-than-before. You stay in control of your claim — we never file it or negotiate it for you.

03

Wind mitigation

Certified inspections that can reduce your premium — nailing patterns, secondary water barrier and roof-to-wall connections documented for your insurer.

04

Leak detection

Thermal imaging finds the entry point, not just the drip. Fixed at the source and guaranteed in writing.

05

Salt-air maintenance

Coastal roofs age faster. Our annual 21-point service clears valleys, reseals penetrations, and emails you a photo report.

06

Gutters & drainage

Seamless aluminum, oversized downspouts, leaf guards — water goes where it should, away from the slab.

Proof, not adjectives

Built for the coast

Materials specced for salt air and wind uplift.

Inland-spec materials are why some coastal roofs fail in eight years instead of thirty. Everything below is chosen for what the Gulf actually does to a roof.

Secondary water barrierInsurance credit
Florida homeowners only

The state may pay two-thirds of your roof hardening.

My Safe Florida Home is a Florida Department of Financial Services matching-grant program for wind mitigation. The state contributes $2 for every $1 you put in, up to $10,000. Three of the five covered improvement categories are roofing work: roof-deck attachment, roof-to-wall connection, and secondary water barrier.

We do the free wind-mitigation inspection the application needs, and we build to the standards the grant requires — so the paperwork and the workmanship line up.

Grants are first-come, first-served and depend on available state funding. Eligibility is determined by the state, not by us. Check current status at mysafeflhome.com.

Straight answers

What homeowners ask us first.

How long does a roof replacement actually take?

Most homes are a single day — tear-off in the morning, new roof on by evening, site cleaned before we leave. Larger or multi-level roofs can run two days. The timeline is in writing with your estimate, so there's no guessing about how long your home is exposed.

What wind rating do you install to?

Our standard architectural shingle systems are rated to 130+ mph, hand-nailed with six nails per shingle rather than the four many crews use. Combined with peel-and-stick underlayment and proper roof-to-wall connections, that's what holds when a storm sits on the coast.

Will you work with my insurance company?

Yes, end to end. We document the damage, meet your adjuster on site, and handle the claim paperwork. You don't have to translate roofing language into insurance language — that's our job.

Can a new roof lower my insurance premium?

Often, yes. Florida insurers offer wind-mitigation credits for nailing patterns, a secondary water barrier, and documented roof-to-wall attachment. We perform the inspection and give you the certificate your insurer needs.

My roof is old but not leaking. Does that matter?

It matters to your insurer. Many Florida carriers now non-renew or refuse coverage on roofs past a certain age regardless of condition. If yours is approaching 15 years, it's worth knowing where you stand before renewal season rather than after.

What's actually covered by the warranty?

Two separate things: a 50-year manufacturer warranty on the materials, and a 10-year warranty on our workmanship. The second one matters most — the majority of roof failures come from installation, not the shingle.

Do you offer financing?

Financing details to be confirmed — lender, terms and starting monthly payment. Apply before the estimate so you know your number when we walk the roof.

Why does coastal roofing cost more than inland?

Salt air corrodes fasteners and flashing far faster, and hurricane code requires heavier fastening and sealing. Using inland-spec materials near the Gulf is why some roofs fail in eight years instead of thirty. We spec for the coast because that's the only place we work.
